When you join our ad exchange, you'll paste a code on your site that will rotate other members' ads. Likewise, your ad will be seen on their sites. It's a win:win.
We use a 10:8 ratio. This means that for every 10 times an ad is seen on your site, your own ad will be seen 8 times on other sites. These are called impressions and are based on pageviews. The greater your traffic, the more your ad will be shown. The more your ad is shown, the greater your traffic. It only gets better from there.
The exchange is and will always be free, but if you do not wish to place the code on your site or would like to supplement your earned impressions, you have the option of purchasing impressions at an affordable price. This is a great option for members with Etsy shops, MySpace music pages, or other sites that do not allow third-party ads. (Click here for more information about joining as a paying advertiser.)

There are two categories, music and fashion. You may opt to show ads from both categories (as we have done for the ad shown above), or choose one. Our fashion category includes style bloggers, clothing/jewelry designers, and vintage shop owners. In our music category we have musicians, indie record label owners, deejays, and even album art designers.
All new members receive 1000 free impressions! This means your ad will be shown 1000 times regardless of your traffic. We want to start you off with a nice boost. Also, if you write about Indie Style Media in a blog post and send us an email to let us know, we'll award you with another bonus 1000 impressions.
This exchange was designed by bloggers for bloggers. We understand that nobody wants an unattractive or irrelevant ad on her or his site. All ads must meet our approval before entering the exchange system.
In fact, you'll most likely be enticed to click on other members' ads and check them out. This is a great bonus of the exchange--meeting other bloggers and making connections with those in your industry.
