Special instructions for Blogspot exchange users. - Blogspot does not allow javascript. I'm having trouble logging in. - Be sure you are trying to login within the correct area. For example, if you have a publisher's account and are trying to login to the advertiser area, it will not let you in. Likewise, if you have an account in the exchange, you will need a separate account to access the publisher's marketplace. If you believe you are trying to login to the correct area, try the password reminder.

I pasted the ad marketplace code on my site but don't see anything. - The simple reason for this is that your publishing place has not been approved yet. This will happen anytime you make a new placement or edit one. Once an admin approves your placement, you will see an ad. This could take up to 24 hours, so please be patient. On the other hand, if your blog is hosted by Blogspot and the ad does not show up after 48 hours, try the instructions for the exchange code above and let us know if there is any problem.

I pasted the ad marketplace code on my site but I only see a default ISM ad. - Our marketplace ads work like this: the first 100 words of your blog are scanned and if any match the keywords specified by the advertiser, then the advertiser's ad appears and you are paid for clicks. Advertisers have the option to choose what countries they would like their ad to be seen in, and if you are not in one of those countries you will not see the ad, but others will and you will be paid for clicks. Also, you may not see the ad if you have refreshed your site or clicked the ad space too many times.

I'm having trouble uploading an ad. - Make sure your ad is the required size. Contact us if you continue having trouble. For the banner exchange, you must link to your ad using your own website directory or a service such photobucket.com.

Is it possible to have both advertiser and publisher accounts in the marketplace? - Yes, and we encourage it. You may also hold an account on the exchange. Please note that you will need to sign up separately in each area.

How can I increase my earnings? - Rest assured that we are working to earn you money, but if you wish, you can help in a very simple way... Spread the word! Twitter about us, email fellow-bloggers or advertisers you have relationships with, write a blog post, write a blurb on your site, set up an advertising page with our contact info, and/or buy a t-shirt and wear it around town. These are all simple things that will help us build a better network and help you earn money. Also, be sure to place your ad in a prominent location and join our banner exchange to increase your traffic.

How can I increase my impressions in the exchange so my ad will be seen more? - If your traffic is low and you are not earning as many impressions as you'd like, you have the option of purchasing clicks at a low price. This is a great way to boost your traffic! Login and select "Manage resources" under "125x125" on the navigational menu for more information. Also, if you write about Indie Style Media on your blog and send us an email to let us know, we will award you a bonus of 1000 extra impressions!
